Chris Racey

Chris provides loss control services to the North Western, North Central and the central part of Illinois down to the middle of the state. Chris’ goal for our membership is to reduce both the frequency and severity of injuries to all employees through training/education and the development of corrections actions.  Developing strong relationships is the foundation of everything he does, both professionally and personally. 

Chris is a Veteran of the US Army for almost 9 years in both the US and overseas in Germany. After being discharged, Chris returned home to Illinois. Chris attended and received his AS Degree from Rock Valley College in Rockford, IL. He then attended Illinois State University where he received his B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health with a Minor in Environmental Health. Since graduation Chris has worked in several manufacturing, agricultural and insurance safety positions including a Regional Safety Manager position with DuPont and Sr Loss control Consultant with Pekin Insurance. His past experiences give Chris technical expertise in the areas of administration, inspections, safety program development, training, and a variety of OSHA requirements. 

Chris and his wife have three children. He enjoys traveling, coaching and refereeing wrestling, and relaxing on the beach.
